Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence
In 2003, we set out to make life easier for children’s residential homes. The Clearcare team knew all about the complexities of managing children’s homes, including the importance of saving carer’s invaluable time.
Armed with this knowledge, we created a simple, effective and secure way to manage:
- Children’s residential homes
- Supported accommodation for care leavers
- Schools for pupils with SEND
Over the years, we worked closely with all our customers to create a bespoke solution for their specific needs while delivering and maintaining excellent customer service.
With over 20 years of expertise developing customer-led care management software, we’re excited to now bring Resicare to the USA!
We started out with a simple mission:

With 20 years of outstanding service under our belt, we are proud that our software solution is now used in more than 1450 children’s homes and over 500 Supported Accommodation provisions across the UK.
We currently have over 450 customers with over 50,000 registered users – a figure which is constantly growing!
Local authorities love our software too; Bristol City Council, Buckinghamshire County Council, Durham Council, Devon County Council already use our software – to name but a few.

“We started Clearcare in 2003 because we wanted to help children’s residential homes better demonstrate their care quality by using technology to record care data.
Back then, all data was recorded on paper, and care management software as we know it didn’t exist. As a result, hard-working care home managers were often overwhelmed with administrative burden, and anxious about falling short during inspections.
We wanted to create a service-focused management solution that would ease this pressure on managers. We created the first Clearcare software to help our own care homes manage their sensitive data and daily activities. In those days the cloud was still the great unknown, but as technology progressed, more care homes saw our software and began asking for their own versions. As our customer base grew, we listened to the feedback we received from care managers and residents, and their preferences have helped shape every new version of our software.
